Swelling

I am 5 years out from surgery. Now my arm is swelling. Is it common to develop this 5 years later. My onc ordered ultrasound and didn’t find anything wrong.

  My understanding is that lymphedema can occur at almost any time. I would recommend getting a referral to a lymphedema therapist to evaluate the swelling. Early intervention seems to be effective at managing the condition.
