I'm so sorry Lolly and you'll get lots of support here. I have a different type of cancer, but I can say I dissected and researched my mammogram and pathology results first. Next I looked at typical treatment plans and risk of reccurence with each option. I went into my appts with an idea of what I wanted and why and asked my specialists to poke holes in my theories, disagree with what I found, agree, etc. I tried to be open minded but also came in armed with as much information as I could find, so it was a partnership. Do what you can to get yourself through the next couple of weeks. Thoughts and prayers with you.

It might help the ladies here to know size, grade, etc

    Hi Lolly,

Almost 7 years ago I was at the same place you are now. A diagnosis of IDC with cancer in my axillary lymph node. It’s a scary time when you don’t have answers. I’m sorry that you’re living it now but can tell you that I made it through and you can too. I have some scars and lost my hair for a while but it grew back. If you can hang in there until you get answers and a treatment plan, it gets a bit easier from that point on. Best of luck to you on your journey.

Hi there, Lolly54. We know this is a scary, uncertain time. The first days and weeks following a diagnosis are so difficult to process! The not knowing can make it worse - hopefully, after you've seen your doctor and have a better idea of what you're dealing with, you'll start to feel more in control about everything. Please keep us posted, we're all here for you!
