Does being on regular zoldaex injections reduce the chance of getting pregnant? I thought it would as effects ovulation but i got the impression from some articles that this isn't the case.

Hi there, Nutbars! Welcome to our community. We have some information on our main site you might find helpful that says, "A study shows that premenopausal women diagnosed with hormone-receptor-negative, early-stage breast cancer who were treated with Zoladex (chemical name: goserelin) along with chemotherapy after surgery were much less likely to be infertile after chemotherapy ended than women who got chemotherapy without Zoladex". The study is also linked in the article (http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1413204). There are more studies and a podcast from Dr. Matteo Lambertini, medical oncologist at the Institute Jules Bordet Brussels, that you may also find helpful: https://www.breastcancer.org/community/podcasts/ovarian-suppression-20171208.

Nutbars. It's really awesome that you are planning to have a baby. But, dear Zoladex and pregnancy does not go hand in hand. You must be knowing that zoladex is contradicted in pregnancy and even in lactation as it can cause harm to the foetus and can even lead to loss of child in the womb. So, please do think twice before taking any decision .

    Good luck and God bless.
