    Hi Ladies,

I've had a cough for a few weeks now. I feel ok otherwise, no shortness of breath or anything else. I went snorkeling in July and swallowed seawater. The cough started soon after but I can't really say if this is what triggered it. I'm hoping it's just a bacteria or an upper respiratory infection but it's been so many weeks now (6) and it has me worried about lung mets. My primary prescribed Amoxicillin and a bronchial cough syrup which I've been on for about 3 days now. I was taking over the counter meds before that. I saw my Onc about 2 weeks ago but didn't mention it to her because I'm watching it first and she wouldn't have hesitated to have me do scans and all the other fun stuff. My blood work was perfect and my tumor markers were low. Does anyone know what if any are the early symptoms of lung mets? It's been a year since finishing treatment and I've tried keeping a positive outlook but as you all know, it's not easy.

    Thanks

Since it was triggered by an event, it is likely related to that, but do follow up to get answers. Hoping it resolves soon.

    Hi Kbeee,

After almost 2 months and a round of antibiotics the cough is gone:)

Just a bacterial infection. Thanks for replying.
