Hi Girls,

I am back on Site again and wonder if anyone (following Lat Dorsi recon 2015) is in a similar situation??

I have been on and off estrogen blockers for the past 3 years, I can honestly say that I have given these my best shot (currently taking another break from Femara). I have tried Tamoxifen, Arimidex, Femara and Aromasin and am well aware of both the benefit and the side effects relating to same. Problem being usually after a short break, I have lymph nodes appearing in axilla, side of scar line and on my chest wall.....aagh pretty scary!!!! Beside the 'usual' joint pain etc I have pretty chronic (horrendous to be honest) back and flank pain (recon site) which must be due to the lack of estrogen within the tissue at the lat dorsi area. I have lost just about all of my breast tissue on my recon site and have had the implant removed. Has anyone else had problems with hormone therapy specifically after a Lat Dorsi would really appreciate hearing from someone.....anyone! xxx

I too had bi-lateral mastectomy with LD reconstruction in 2015

I have been on Tamoxifen since Jan 2016.

My right side has never given me trouble. But my left has always had issues.

I find my skin in armpit gets very sensitive to touch and travels around to my back.

The Tamoxifen gives me flushes... Some joint pain. I'm just too scared to stop. Im on it for 10 years.

    Anyone else have similar?

    Thanks Jen
