i am 18 years old with no family history of BC. Today after reading several articles about breast cancer dimples. I discovered a slight dent on my underboob. it is only visible in certain lights. however you can not feel a dent when you touch it it just seems to look like one. I showed my mother and she couldn't see a dimple/dent just a small white spot that i always had. i do have anxiety so i am very scared that this could be cancer. i just saw my doctor regarding a different issue about my breast but he didn't perform an exam. i don't want to be annoying and see him again, because if my mother does not see it. chances are he will not see it either and i might be imagining it due to anxiety. question is: should i see a different doctor immediately or should i wait? should i see a doctor at all? i am really worried and also scared.

    Hi again rosiexmary,

We're sorry you're still here and worrying -- this is now the 3rd "symptom" you feel you have that may be breast cancer that you are posting about. You have heard from many members here that what you have described is nothing at all to worry about, and your doctor has confirmed this. As another member has mentioned, perhaps you should mention to your doctor that you have health anxiety and he/she can address that as an issue, rather than the very, very low chances that you have any type of malignant breast condition at this age.

We hope you find some relief soon so you can stop worrying yourself silly.

Why are you reading articles about breast cancer in the first place?
