Paget’s of the nipple, diagnosed today. And I’m 31.

hello all,

So sadly, I got the call that my punch biopsy results came back positive for Pagets. Which I am not too shocked considering the shape my nipple is in... but I’m scared to know what else I have. I am praying for DCIS at this point, but I’m sure I feel a lump about dime sized near my cleavage area deep in the tissue. I am told this is very rare, and my obgyn almost didn’t take me seriously because I’m 31! In the last 7 years I have had 3 babies and nurses them all. I am looking for any and all experience with pagets. I am completely terrified and have no idea what is in store for me.

    Hi! First I would like to say I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of right breast. I had a lumpectomy in December 2018, finished radiation in April. My nipple has been leaking fluid for the past two weeks. Just curious if this was happening to you as well. I go see my doctor Friday.

    Just seeing your post now and was diagnosed with Pagets and DCIS at 45. Curious how you're doing now and what your final diagnosis was. Happy to answer any questions you may still have!

    I am new to the forum, I am terrified. I am 60 years old, approx. 1 1/2 years ago I immediately went to my PA because I had a painful cyst, with a little bloody discharge, We did a mammogram which was negative, since then I had another mammogram which was negative, I don't feel a lump, I am prone to cysts, PA says she is not concerned, had the ?cyst seemed to get better, then went swimming, again white nipple discharge, a few days later a few drops bright red blood from the nipple, seems to be getting better again. What next?

    What were your symptoms with padgets? I am so sorry you have this! it is terrifying to even think of!!!
