Is there any one who felt good on Tamoxifen

Pebbles: I'm very sorry! She was a beauty. Sorry to ask, I know how painful it is to lose one of our little hairy children. I send you a big hug!

Just popping in to report that although I don't feel GOOD on Tamoxifen, I am nearly seven months in and relieved to be able to say it has not made my migraines worse. I'd even cautiously say there has been some improvement. Magnesium supplements seem to fend off the worst of the muscle cramps and flu-like feelings when I remember to take them. Hot flashes happen around my period, which have gotten so much lighter that it's more like spotting. So, although I'd much rather not be taking it or be in a place where taking it is necessary, I feel pretty positive about it at the moment.

Hello ladies- I'm new to this board. I started Tamoxifen about a month and a half ago and I have a feeling I'm an oddball or the true side effects haven't kicked in as I'm not really experiencing any side effects. I have hot flushes but have had those since chemo so nothing new. I thankfully don't have the bone pain or sleeping issues I've read some of the ladies have dealt with. I do get headaches but I've been dealing with those since way before chemo or tamoxifen.
I hope everyone has a good week!! Keep up the fight to kick cancer's ass!!🥊🥊

I felt pretty okay on tamoxifen I gotta say. I had hot flashes at first, but they were minimal and tapered off after about 8 weeks. the biggest side effect for me was insomnia which was very annoying.

I started tamoxifen in January this year and have been feeling fine on it! I think the ones who do fine tend to post less because there are less questions to ask and you're getting back in the zone of your normal life. My cycle is not regular like it used to be but other than that no discernible side effects.
I was super, super worried about it before I started. I also did a lot of research on how to combat SEs if they come and heard that magnesium is good for getting sleep, working out (yoga especially) is good for combating joint pain, and for me I take my dose at night which may or may not help that during the day I feel like my normal self.
Domino and Tucker demonstrate the two sides of tamoxifen! Hope there are more of us feeling fine that can share our stories, and that those with SEs can find ways to counteract the SEs.

Your fur babies are adorable!
BTW I managed Tamoxifen with little or no side effects too but I was glad my oncologist told me I could quit taking it after 5 years. I’m 8 years out this month.
