Fluid in lungs

Options

Well, it's been 13 years. I thought I was safe. I've been feeling some shortness of breath. Long story short, ER visit let to x-ray and ct which shows a mass on my right lung. I have no details, I was admitted for drainage of the fluid and awaiting that procedure. I'm scared and sad and SO SO MAD. I lived in fear of recurrence for so long and when I finally decided to start living a 'normal' life I get this. Please pray for me. It's not me I worry for, it is my 8 year old son. So sad...

    Hi LittleFlower,

We're so very sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. We know it's not easy, but please try to remain positive. You'll find there are many wonderful members here who have faced a metastatic diagnosis and are living happy, fulfilling lives. We're all here to support you, so as Teddy says, please come back when you're ready and we'll be right here.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Do they have pathology from the tumor yet?
