Stromal inflammation

Hello, I just had a biopsy and the dr said it’s stromal inflammation. They are sending it out for further testing. Path not available yet so that’s all I know. Quick peek online makes me think this might be an early change that could eventually turn to cancer? It’s the end of the week and all this science is hurting my brain. Is anyone familiar with this? Perhaps a recommendation for a good site to start with? Thank you
