Almost made it to 10 years.
Hi, Just found out my cancer went to my lungs? Doing well, no symptoms. Guess on to stage 4. Found by accident. Sharon MH

Sharon, I am so sorry to hear that. How did you find out with no symptoms?

Hi nonomimi5, I went in for a X-ray for a unrelated rib injury and they found fluid in the lung, they drained it and after testing it, found it was positive for breast cancer cells. Really the only symptom was during my walks lately I was out of breath, but didn't think much about it. Will find out next week after some scans my treatment plan. Feel fine except my ribs still hurt from the other injury. SharonM

Uuuugh. I am so sorry to hear this. Hoping you have a plan in place soon to address it.

Just getting the scans done this week, then see Onc. next week. Things sure did change quick.SharonMH

Wishing you the best as you move forward with a new plan. Please keep us posted, you are in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Sharon. It must be a lot to wrap your mind around at this point, as well as dealing with being back on the cancer roller coaster again. I hope your scans come out with encouraging results and that your treatment plan will be even more effective (and gentle) than you hope.

You and me both - first dx in 2010, stage 1, 1.2cm no nodal involvement and an xray of my neck (slipped disc) showed changes in my bones. Cue ten months of tests and scans and biopsies and it's stage 4 in bones and lungs
Trying to keep my chin up, but I'm heartily sick of hospitals and medicines right now...

2020Division. I was diagnosed with stage 3a with alot of node involvement in August 2009. I hurt my ribs and during a X-ray they found fluid in my other lung.I also have Mets to bone and lung. What treatment are you on? I just started Ibrance and Faslodex. SharonMH

Sharon, sounds familiar. I was just diagnosed about a month ago. It has taken this long for biopsy and genetic markers. I also really fine other than some shortness of breath and found with fluid on lung also. Starting treatment next week. Triple negative so back to chemo for me. It really just sucks. Do you know if your tumor is in your lung or on your pleura? Here we go again right? Hang in there... I'm right there with you, as are many others

Sorry so many of you are dealing with this beast again. Wishing you the best moving forward and hoping the treatments kick back the cancer for a long while.
