There is a Dr Tiffany Traina at MSK and Dr Melinda Telli at Stanford. I have heard about them and read about them and kept them in mind for if I need further treatment.

    Hi

I put all of my faith and life in the hands of Massachusetts General/Dana Farber both in Boston. i was at death's door three years ago and my oncologist literally saved my life. I have been stable for more than two years. Dr. Beverly Moy is my MO and she is wonderful. I trust her completely! She is at the main campus of Mass General in downtown Boston.

    Good luck!

Sciteachmama, where do you live? One of the world's experts on triple negative is in raleigh NC but she runs the cancer center there now and I don't know how many patients she sees.

The most important thing you can do is to find an oncologist you trust. And that you can communicate with. A place with a good clinical trials program and [even better] and immunotherapy program would be best.

I am in southwest Michigan. I know that I can see an oncologist farther away and have a local oncologist complete the protocol. I have an appointment with an oncologist in chapel hill. I wonder if that's the same place you are talking about.

    Thank you,

    Margaret

Yes it is. Lisa Carey runs a good shop. I've heard her speak several times -- people say she's a great doctor. I've only met her once and can say she's a nice person too.

Throwing in one more name, not specific to TNBC but Keith Block in Skokie treats cancer in very special ways and has very good results with stage 4 people. I did a consult w him and followed his plan.

I’m not triple negative, but Dr. Melinda Telli, whom someone mentioned above, is my second opinion mo. She is very well regarded in the field of triple neg treatment. She is also genuine, warm and respected my intelligence. She is at Stanford in Palo Alto, CA
