Hi all

I am new to the forum and would like some feed back on pre-pectoral silicon implants. I had pre-pectoral silicon implant put in my right breast two weeks ago after UMX and TE. There has been some drop and fluff but the treated breast has still got some wrinkles. I am hoping these will smooth out in time and that the breast would drop a bit more. How long does it take for the drop and fluff to complete? I wouldn’t very much appreciate hearing about your experiences. Many thanks

I also had prepectoral silicone implant and my PS is ADAMANT that the drop and fluff will take 6 full months. My GYN agrees with him.

I am not sure about the rippling, however. I have a friend who had some rippling after her surgery (same surgery) and I know he went in and did fat grafting on the ripples at about the 10 week post op point, so I would definitely call your PS and talk about the ripples with him.

Hope this helps. I'm only 7 weeks postop, so I don't have any great real world experience for you yet.

Thanks so much for your reply, meeko1452. My PS seems to think the folds will smooth out but I shall talk to him again. All the best
