It is an heirloom peace rose. and yes it starts with a yellow bud with just a little pink tip and then goes to orange and pink as it matures.

Good morning all, and thank you for sharing your Spring colors! I especially enjoyed the cactus flowers. The desert in the Spring is magnificent.
So here are a few from our house. The wisteria is already fading of blooms. The food garden gave us artichokes, salads, strawberries and herbs. The tomato plants and basil are on course with flowers turning into small green tomatoes. The grape vines are nurturing the tiny glusters. The dwarf lemon and nectarine trees are bountiful. A robin zeroed in on the only cherry on the tree and ate it; pruning well this year will help production of more cherries next year.
Our winter to spring was very wet thus producing a lush garden this year. My lavender was dramatic and more to come from the other species. The roses and wisteria were a joy this year. The honeysuckle lored the hummingbirds.
June is coming out hot, very hot. I've already upped the irrigation. Fortunately the shade from the oak trees gives us and the creatures in the garden protection from the sun and heat.
Best wishes to all as always,
Marilyn

I dug in two of the pavers in the rose bed to the right depth, weeded around them and mulched this morning. My back is done with this project for today but I am so looking forward to continuing. I absolutely love this look. I spend alot of time on my front porch overlooking the view of the valley, the rose bed and birdbath. Such a wonderful place to be. I am very grateful

Jazzy gorgeous blooms. Maybe I should put my hubbie’s cactus outside for the summer. I would love to see blooms.
I saw a hummingbird so I purchased sugar at the store since I never have sugar in my house and now I can’t find the Hummingbird feeder! Ugh.
