ADH with a new lump

So I found a lump back in 2016 and ultimately I had it removed and biopsied and I was only told that it was benign. I should have asked for more details and I didn't. I was just so relieved to hear benign that nothing else mattered. So fast forward 3 years and I found a new lump in the same breast close to where the last lump was. I went to my doctor and she felt it too, we looked up the biopsy results from 3 years ago and she said I had ADH and scheduled me for a mammogram. I'm a little worried because this feels a little different than the last one. Also I learned that ADH puts you at a higher risk for cancer. Has anyone had ADH and developed cancer? If so how soon after the ADH dx? What type?

I'm hoping it's scar tissue..

I had ALH 10 years ago. What I've had since is in my profile. Be aware that the scar tissue will always feel hard (unless you did a really good job of massaging the area). Also, stay current with your mammos. I was about 18 months late before my 2016 DCIS. I don't think getting my mammo on time would have changed the dx, but I do believe the area would have been smaller.
