Sleeping on stomach with breast implants?

Hi there! I am a belly sleeper. I have been living with a left tissue expander for nearly 3 years and I was wondering if implants would feel just as uncomfortable for me as the expander? My plan was a DIEP Flap, but I developed treatment-related Leukemia and the risks now associated with a DIEP have greatly increased and I am unsure of what to do. With 4 kids and 3 years of fighting cancer, I long to sleep on my belly again! Thanks so much for your thoughts!

I did a search for "pillow to use for belly sleeping with breast implants" and found something that might help you. The link wouldn't work when I tried to post it.

Once my implants were "settled in" and healed, I went back to sleeping on my side and my stomach. The implants (mine are silicone) are so much softer than expanders.

I also am able to sleep on my stomach, sort of a 3/4 flat position, with silicone implant.

The expanders are bad... in my experience I do not have problems sleeping on side or belly with implants. Doing yoga moves on my belly or strength training is a different story. But that is smashing implants into a hard surface!

I downsized ever so slightly for my “final exchange” only 50cc and comfort level is so much better as well as ROM! The aesthetics are so much better as well!

    Good luck to you..DairyBelle
