Tamoxifen Taste - Mayne Pharma

Hello. I have been taking tamoxifen for about 3.5 years. Started with teva, now moved on to mayne pharma.

Last two sets of pills i am getting are tasteless, and i swear the ones before were bitter.

What does your tamoxifen tastes like? Did anything like this happen to anyone else?

Mine are bitter and chalky, no coating on the pills.

I guess it's bitter and chalky, but I don't let it linger in my mouth.

Thank you for the answers. I am wondering, do you by a chance know the brand name you use?

It might be Mayne. They sometimes fill it with different brands, but I think Mayne is the one I have now. There was one brand that was more coated than the ones I have currently. But it really doesn't make a difference if you take it with the cup of water they say to take it with. I feel like the coated ones I had awhile back were bigger, so these are nicely smaller which helps.

I have both Mayne and Actavis that I've been taking. I wish they were coated as I had some pills on the counter that got wet, and they just disintegrated.
