Here is my Deeohgee with watching eye. He knows his mama is upset. (My Dad is in hospice). I love dogs !
-
micmel- I'm so sorry to hear your father's in hospice. Is he comfortable? Deeoohgee seems to be keeping an eye on you. You've had a lot to deal with. How's our Tag doing?
-
God bless you micmel, and God bless your father. Sending prayers and hugs to you. Glad Deeoohgee is taking such excellent care of you.
-
Micmel...having Deeohgee by your side can be a great comfort as you struggle with losses.
-
That’s unconditional love for sure from Deeohgee
-
my father passed yesterday morning at 1030 am. When I got the call, Deeohgee howled with my crying. He knew. I rushed over and sat with my father for about an hour. It was surreal. I will love and miss him forever. Deeohgee and tag are by my side. Along with my wonderful DH and kids. Kiss those you love. Happy Mother’s Day wonderful women. Much lov
-

-

-
Applies to dogs too😂🤣
-
Getting ready to run. A few of my babies keeping me company while I put on my shoes.
-
Jo~I used to love to run. I miss feeling strong. I miss feeling actually. Your fur babies are precious !
Deeohgee was feeling very smart and comforting me.
-
Micmel...is Deeohgee reading "A Dogs Journey"?
I may have missed an earlier post, but am curious as to the name Deeohgee .
-
Magic~ my DH named him. It's the actual pronunciation sound, of the word dog spelling. Dee oh gee. Means Dog. When the dictionary helps us see how to pronounce words correctly. We just spelled dog with the sound. As his name. I loved it immediately and he was named!
-
Thanks Micmel, creative story on naming.
-
I sing two different songs only with different inunciation of dogi. The songs are Bonanza theme song and lullaby by Schubert. For example I say doogi doogi doooooogi dogi dogi dodododo gheee. My beagle loves the songs even though both only has one word.
-
lol my daughter sings songs about Deeohgee. I’m sending this to her. She will love it ! Lol thank you..
-
My Aussie registration name was Wolfgang Amadoggus. Call name Vulfie. After Wolfgang Amadeus. But Germans and Austrians have trouble saying W sounds. In the movie Amadeus Mozart’s wife sounds like she says Vulfie. Not Wolfie. And that’s how he was named. I still miss him every day.
-
that’s pretty cool as well! It’s funny the things we come up with or shorten. If I were to count how many dog nicknames he has in addition to his real name. It would be a page long perhaps. Lol I bet you fellow dog owners would agree. ~M~
-
For sure! Spookie can be Pookie, or poo. Or poopy butt. Or if she’s done something she shouldn’t, her full name. Spookie Saimhain.
Kris can be Kris wiss or I tell him he’s a good poodlER because he’s not a doodle, even though it rhymes.
-
I love the idea of a dog named Deeohgee! All of ours have middle names so we can use their full name if they've been bad.
-
I call my dog Jackson: “Pooper Doodles", “Poopers", “Puppers", “Pups", “Bubba Dude"
