Question about IDC plus DCIS plus LCIS

Hi all,

I meet w/ my oncologist on Wednesday--first visit after the lumpectomy and sentinel node surgery. All things considered, my prognosis is excellent except I have some confusion around the LCIS dx from the path report.

The biopsy uncovered the IDC and DCIS; I had an MRI w/ and w/o contrast to make sure nothing else was hiding (I've got very dense breast tissue). I know LCIS doesn't really show up in MRIs and isn't a true breast cancer but it does complicate things.

Have any of you had this dx also, and if so, what did you choose to do?
