Inflammatory breast cancer symptoms
Hello everyone,
I’ve been having a few symptoms of ibc. I am terrified at this point. I’m 26 years old and no one seems to take me serious. I first noticed a small dent on my left breast right at the top. I didn’t think it was anything until I went to google. After that I was terrified. I called and booked an appointment with my doctor, and within a few weeks I went in. My doctor didn’t notice a dimple or lump. So I pulled up a picture I had taken when it all first started. Once she saw the pic she booked me for an ultrasound. I’m so scared my left breast with the dent feels swollen. Both of my breast are warm. They also both have a lil redness my left breast more then the other. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid and just imagining things because no one else seem to notice. Everyone brushes me off like I’m crazy but I’m scared. I know something is going on

"Something going on" is a lot more likely to be something benign rather that cancer. Try not to get ahead of yourself until you have your ultrasound. Nothing you are talking about sounds like IBC to me, especially considering IBC worsens dramatically-in days, if not hours.

Hello Melissa and thanks for your reply. My doctor said the picture I showed her resembles peau d orange. Although she didn’t really see it when I went in. She booked me for an ultrasound to be safe. The dimple has something under it as well. She didn’t feel anything but I do. I thought all those were symptoms along with some redness and swelling. I have all of those things.

One thing that should make you feel better is that it would be highly unlikely for IBC to affect both breasts at the same time at initial onset. The fact that both breasts feel warm and both breasts have only a little redness is a strong indication that it's not IBC. Hope your ultrasound goes well and you get a benign diagnosis of your symptoms.

Thank you, it does help a little. It’s just every day something different happens. Now with me noticing the swelling I’m freaking out. I hope all is well with everything.

JanWeb--the affected breast is pinkish/reddish,itchy,has swelling, warm and looks like orange peel ( with dimples) and the nipple becomes inverted.
I do not think yours is IBC.Hope this helps.

Hi Jan, I understand but i feel like the symptoms are coming more and more. My left breast where the dimple was is now swollen. I feel like each day it’s something different. I’m praying it’s something else but all roads are leading back to ibc..
