tamoxifen Making me sick

I wanted to ask has anyone had the side effects throwing up taking tamoxifen?

    It makes me nauseous at times but not throwing up, and it's causing stomach issues like heart burn and upset stomach. I'm taking plenty of stomach meds but it's still happening.

    I have not experienced that. Have you tried taking it with food, like a couple crackers?

    I have been taking Tamoxifen since Feb, I have not thrown up, but like Veeder14 mentioned have had some nausea. I switched to having a small snack, like some crackers or a piece of toast and taking it before bed. This helps me and I don't notice side affects while I am sleeping. A few hot flashes now and again, but that's it. I have a friend that had a very negative reaction to Tamoxifen, and was switched to a different medication. You could always call your doctor and see if there are other options for you. Good Luck and I really hope you feel better.

    Try getting your protein levels to 100 grams per day. Take it at night and have a small snack afterward. The protein helps cut down on the hunger pains.
