Hi..

I recently had an MRI completed after an abnormality was found on my mammogram(yearly mammograms due to family hx). The MRI showed a 9mm progressively enhancing nodule, BIRAD 4B and suggested biopsy for further investigation as they cannot determine what it is. I’m staying very positive, I cannot feel the lump, I’m very healthy and I am hoping and praying this is just due to my crappy dense boobs. Has anyone been through this or have any insight as to the MRI report? I feel like many reports are marked 4B as precaution and from what I have read, progressively enhancing is much better than washout, etc.

And yeah...I’m scared

    Hi,

Findings: The breasts are composed of heterogeneously dense tissue, moderate enhancement of BPE.

    Left: Normal

Right: Within the medial right breast@approx 2:00, middle depth, there is a progressively enhancing nodule corresponding to the mammographic abnormality(series 14-83). This measures a max of 9mm. This is indeterminate, biopsy suggested.

    Adenopathy: None

BIRADS 4(moderate suspicion), suggested MRI guided biopsy.

Thank you so much!! I'm actually doing really well and have a ton of support but the fear is real that's for sure.

I just had an ultrasound followup done, and also got a 4B rating. I'm having a hard time keeping it together, but I've got my fingers crossed for both of us.
