I had IDC in my right breast in 2015 and had a lumpectomy, chemo (but titrated version) and radiation. I've had regular mammograms and follow up all along.

In the past few months my right breast has become more and more firm and heavy. My Drs have put it down to how my breast reacted to radiation. It now feels quite rubber-like. And its regularly warm.

Ive found a very tiny 'knot' (lump) on the right side. There's also one significant sized indent/pucker right where the knot is.

I have an appointment with my oncology surgeon tomorrow.

I'm scared to bits that it's a recurrence. I'm pretty I can deal with IDC again but am worried sick that it's inflammatory BC.

Anyone else had similar symptons/signs after IDC and it turned out to be nothing?

    Thanks

    Dauna

I've had some lumps turn out to be scar tissue and one that turned out to be a recurrence. Do insist on imaging. Keep us posted. Sorry you're dealing with this.

A couple days after the ultrasound, you should be able to go pick up a copy of the report.
