Received MRI Results... Now need a core biopsy

I had written a few weeks ago regarding having IBC Symptoms. My mammo, u/s all came back normal. Punch biopsy came back normal (just showed inflammation of the tissues). Just received my MRI Results and there was 3.8 enhancement of my right breast with and enlarged/dilated duct. It says low suspicion of malignancy but that I need a biopsy. I am so scared specially because of the symptoms I've had. Can this be IBC?

suzy--don't jump to any conclusions. I was warned before my MRI that they have a lot of false positives--like 30%. (My BS said, "Those things light *everything* up.") Try to stay calm until the biopsy results come back.

Thank you. I have been so anxious. Wednesday is the MRI Guided biopsy.

If you've already had a punch biopsy that came back negative, the chances of it being IBC are close to zero.

I spoke to a few IBC ladies and they told me 30% chances of a false negative in a punch biopsy for IBC thats why I am worried. I had only 2 punch on the breast. Usually I have read they do 4-6 punches.
