Drain site itching

Anyone have solutions for itching at the drain site? I had surgery yesterday (bmx) and one drain site has been itching nonstop. I can't do anything about it! Any advice??

Same here. I press against the surrounding skin very gently. Helps if my fingers are a little chilly. Unfortunately this is part of the healing process.

The light pressure you mentioned, plus occasional ice packs, helped a lot. Still won't miss the drains when they're out.
