Oncotype scores..
I am curious about the range of oncotype scores people with Stage 1s got. I got a 31 and 27 (was repeated). I don't know if scores go up to 100 as the scale said or if all stage 1s tend to cluster lower. Could people write in their scores so we can see range..and also what follow up was recommended to them?

everetta, if I may add to your request, in addition to the Oncotype score and treatment, I think it would be very interesting and helpful to see:
- Tumor size
- ER/PR status
- Grade
- Age
- Date of recommendation
Age and date are relevant because treatment recommendations have changed as a result of the TAILORx study, and now for some intermediate scores, vary depending on whether one is over 50 or under 50.

I'll start! I added a couple of other items. First dx in 2011:
Oncotype score: 42
Tumor size: 1.3 cm
ER/PR/Her2: On pathology: ER+ >50%, PR+ >10%, Her2 equivocal (later negative on FISH). On Oncotype test: ER+ <10%, PR-, Her2-
Ki-67: 40%
Node status: technically node negative; 4 nodes with isolated tumor cells
Grade: 2
Stage (old guidelines): 1a
Age: 47
Recommendation: clinical trial 4xAC, 6xdd Taxol
Local recurrence 4 years later - TN
Metastatic disease two years later (bone), one spot directly under lymph node area (rib), second spot on sternum (under original two tumors).
My MO called me a zebra.
-
- Tumor size 1st time: 1.9 cm
- ER/PR status 1st time: ER, PR positive
- Grade 1st time: Grade 2
- Age 1st time: 43
-Oncotype 1st time: 16 (not done until after 3rd round of chemo, because of age and family history, chemo was recommended. It was used to decide between 4 and 6 treatments.
- Recommendations: 9/2013: TC X4 then Tamoxifen
2nd time:
- Tumor size: unknown...they took it out in chunks because it was thought to be benign. Probably 1.5 cm; second tumor in a different location about 1 cm
- ER/PR status: ER+, PR-
- Grade: 2
- Age: 44
-Oncotype: 40
- Recommendation: 3/2015: ACX4, TX12, Letrozole and Prolia (ovary removal as well)Age and date are relevant bec

I haven't had a recurrence but will leave my stats
2 tumors, separate, 1cm ILC and 1cm IDC on left side
ILC, grade 2 IDC, grade1
Er 95% Pr 0%, her2(+2) negative Fish
No nodes involved
Left mastectomy and later DIEP reconstruction
Oncodx 34
Age 53, post menopausal
2 years Anastrozole and 2 years exemestane
No recurrence on year 8.
-
Oncotype: 9
Grade: 2
Size: 1.8cm
Hormones: 100% ER, 90% PR, HER2-
No node involvement or LVI
Age: 39
Date: November 2018
Recommendation: Lumpectomy, hypo-fractionated whole breast radiation, tamoxifen 20mg 10 years.
-
I agree and would like to add that people add this. In addition add if tumor is lobular or ductal.
-
My signature answers all the questions I think, except tumor size which I believe was 1.5 cm.
-
Tumor size was 12mm.
-
IDC (more ADH and ALH also found)
Oncotype: 3
Grade: 2
Ki67 22%
Size: 1.1 cm
Hormones: high 90s ER, mid 90s PR, Her2 neg
0/1 node but SNB was done post PBM mastectomy
Age: 51
Date: Feb 2012
Recommendation: Tamoxifen five years (at one point 10 year Tamoxifen was recommended)
-
Stage 1A
Oncotype 21 (March 2018)
largest tumor 1.something (I forgot! maybe 1.2 cm?) but I had a lot of small IDC tumors and DCIS all through the breast and nipple
Grade 2/3
ER+ PR+ HER2-
age 41 at diagnosis
I had already started 8 rounds of CMF when the TailorX results came out, but because of my age they said they would have done chemo anyway.
I was intended to start tamoxifen, but...
recurrence detected as soon as chemo was finished at the biopsy scar, which triggered radiation and ovarian suppression plus AI
-
I added Ki67 also
-
IDC stage 1 (I also had some DCIS in same area, but forgot until I read the pathology report again at my 1 year survivorship plan meeting.
Oncotype 27 (Everyone thought it would be low)
1.3 cm
Grade 1-2
Age at diagnosis 54
Lumpectomy and 3 nodes removed (sentinel) no node involvement.
ER+95% PR+25% Her2-
Breast Reduction a month later. That tissue was also cancer free.
Chemo suggested TC x 4, but I refused.
Radiation (hypofractionated 15 sessions plus 4 boost.) Total 19 and qualified for hypofractionated only because I did the reduction.
Suggested tamoxifen for 5 years, but they would be satisfied if I'd take anything for any length of time. I refused anti hormonals, too.
Diagnosed February 12, 2018. One year out. Felt depressed until about January. Now I'm feeling pretty normal again. Hoping it doesn't come back, but knowing it probably will. From the Oncotype score and what I've learned through the statistics, I figure my chance for a distant recurrence in 10 years is 36%. But I'm still not sure how radiation figures in since the Oncotype score isn't measuring that factor
-
I am newly diagnosed and still in treatment, but just got my Oncotype score back so will share:
DCIS/IDC
Age: 55
Oncotype: 24
Stage: Not sure yet.
Size: 2.5cm
Grade: 2 for DCIS, 1 for IDC
ER+ (90), PR+ (90), HER2 -
KI-67: 18
Surgery: Lumpectomy and Sentinel Node Biopsy. Oncoplasty and reduction to healthy breast to match.
No node involvement and no lympho-vascular involvement.
Recommendation: Doctors recommended no chemo and I concur. Whole breast radiation once I'm healed from surgery and a pill. Not sure yet if it'll be Tamoxifin or an AI. I'm leery of the AI's and I'm only 5 months since my last period, so....We'll see.
I've not seen my oncotype report yet, so am not aware of my percentages.
