concerned for my mother. bug bite/ulcer?
she got itch on bottom of her breast last week she scratched lots.
next day there was a scab with a red ring around.. we then got paranoid and looked up cancer and found IBC can give a bug bite look as first symptom so she barely. slept worrying.
doctor thinks its nothing and gave cream but what if the doctor not well up on IBC. i heard its very aggressive...
i want my mum to live but they making her wait till 9th april for breast is there not anyway to get quicker one and is 2 weeks deadly if it is ibc?
5th day the redness is still there yet the ulcer looking thing in middle seems to be a mm smaller. is the antibiotic cream working?
it wont let me post a pic here to show it. so i made a shorturl to look at it below
photo here if type in url: ibb.co/M2zFfpN

There is no reason to post a link either, and why are you in possession of and posting a picture of your mother’s breast to strangers???
Most skin issues, no matter where they are, are just that-skin issues. It sounds like whatever it is is resolving, and IBC wouldn’t do that. It would rapidly worsen, I’d do what the doctor said and go back after a reasonable period of time for the medicine to work if it doesn’t heal

It could be ringworm see a dermatologist.

thank you for your reply, i got told that if i do not be quick with IBC it could be a loss of a family member, the picture does not show her breast, more so just the skin, did you look at the picture?
thanks for your reply i highly appreciate it, i will keep track of it everyday! -
What has her doctor said about it? As far as "insect bites" are concerned spider bites can look very scary as the tissue dies in the center and can look "invasive".

Hi my son posted my pics on here that you replayed to.
There not my full breast there only a section of the underneath only to keep progress. My son bless him has autism Aspergers and relies on me for his whole life,,, he panics and he's worried about his mum. He asked me first and says the site allows pics. I said yes because all the advice is appreciated.
Thank you for your reply and advice.
Shelly.

I don't think it's ringworm there is no ring around it. It is going smaller the doctor gave me plasters with silver in them and antibiotic cream.
Thanks for your advice much appreciated.

Shelly57 and Concernedson1986 - Welcome to Breastcancer.org!
We just wanted to let you know that posting pictures of symptoms is strongly advised against, as no one here can accurately offer any sort of diagnosis of your condition. That's why we always encourage members worried about their symptoms to seek advice from a medical professional besides asking for advice here... We hope this makes sense. Please, let us know how treatment works. We're happy to hear it is going smaller!
Best,
The Mods

It’s looking a lot better! It’s so sweet your son is helping you. That did look quite scary and the concern is understandable. Glad you are seeing a doctor and getting treatment. Hope you continue to heal smoothly

A dermatologist would probably biopsy it just to make sure.
