Punch Skin Biopsy scheduled for Monday
Hello everyone, I finally was able to her a doctor to do a punch skin biopsy. It will be on Monday. I have been having signs/symptoms of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I am so scared of doing the biopsy because I am so scared of getting the results. I know something is not right at all with my breast. Google has not helped. I feel so withdrawn from my kids and husband because I am so anxious. I can't stop crying, I find myself hyperventilating a lot of times. I am so afraid to have cancer and to die and beed me leave my girls that need me.

Suzy, I’m praying for you, honey. Please try to be calm. It is so much easier said than done though. There are so many women on there that have said the waiting is the hardest part. Lots of prayers for you.

Praying for negative results! I can totally relate to being scared. Hopefully time goes by really fast.

Thank you. I am just so scared of the results. I really Hope my gut feelings are wrong and that this was just a bad case of mastitis. I can't function right now, I try to keep myself busy but I can't stop thinking about this and I can't stop looking at my breast. Thank you for the prayers

Prayers for you. You are doing the right thing & will soon have some answers. I had a punch biopsy 10 days ago & awaiting result

Thank you. Had my results which only showed inflammation. Punch biopsies have a 25% false negative. Had an MRI done which showed enhancement, mold skin thickening and an enhanced duct. Now I have to get an MRI guided core biopsy. Feeling so nervous and anxious.
Prayers sent your way Sflow. Curious why it's taking so long to get your results. When I had my punch biopsy my results were given 3-4 days later. Please keep me updated.

The dermatologist said 10 days to two weeks. I am going in to get sutures out tomorrow & find out results. Hope I have courage to face this.

Sending you positive vibes. Whatever it is yes we will face it. God won't give us something we can't handle. Please keep me updated. I will be praying for you.

The dermatologist said testing for Pagets requires special staining thus the long wait. Luckily the result was benign. Don’t know about the 25% false negatives. Let us know how you are doin
