Anyone done Abraxane and Carboplatin

I had a reaction to Taxol so will have to go back tomorrow. Anyone done Abraxane and Carboplatin for 6 cycles like this: Cycle 1- week 1, week 2, week3 off, Cycle 2 - week 1 on, week 2 on week3 off etc? If so, what are the side effects? When do you feel good enough to have your husband drive 3 hours to the beach with you and your 3 kids (11 15 and 15, so no fighting) for the weekend? BTW - not for breast cancer for a second primary cancer. Thanks
