Did anyone have to wear a band around the top of their chest after the exchange? I had the exchange then went back the next morning to get the bandages removed. He then put me into a surgical bra and put a stretchy brown band around the top part of my chest. It closes with velcro. I think he said it would help push the implants down for a more natural slope. Anyone else have this?

Yesss! I had it after exchange for about a month. It actually gave me the itchies. I had to put it over a long sleeve tee shirt so it didn’t irritate my skin.

Funny my PS was not a fan of any surgical bras during any of my surgeries and told me to wear whatever. Sports bras and just tanks. Insisted on this after exchange. I’m meeting with her tmr and will ask why. And report back!

    Wishing you a speedy recovery!

It is itchy and I've just had it for 1 day so far. And I feel like it keeps riding up and I dont know where exactly its supposed to be.

It’s supposed to set right under armpits bottom of strap right on the upper pole of new foobs. So if you have nipples the bottom of strap would be just above them. You should keep it pretty tight and it won’t ride up. Putting a tank or tee shirt underneath it should keep in place better and stop the itchies.

I found it kinda funny that the strap could be much of a use , but I think it’s commonly used!

You will be rid of it before you know it!
