I started taking Curcumin supplement a few months back and felt fantastic on it. Then I began to hear rumblings of is it safe for estrogen positive BC survivors.

Ladies what are your thoughts? I really want to return to taking it.

Hi, Turmeric is very safe. I see a naturopathy doctor. He recommends this along with mushroom capsules. Very expensive at his office. He also recommends astralagus for immune boosters and medical marijuana (tincture). I just got off of chemo and my immune is down to the ground. Will be going for mastectomy in a couple of weeks followed by radiation. Wow, what a road. Take care and God Bless!

    Hi Rosekatyrose-

I felt so good on turmeric, I just bought a supplement at Whole Foods but it seemed to do the trick for me. Oh I look into the astralagus What’s the CAnnibus tincture for?

If it’s any consolation it took me over a year for my WBC to come up to its normal low level of 4.0. I wasn’t symptomatic but it was alarming that it was hovering in the mid to high 2 range with low neutrophils.

Ohh I wish you the very bestwith your go forward treatment. Try to just take it one step at a time so not to overwhelm yourself. I wish you much strength, peace and healing. 🤗

Curcumin/Tumeric are listed as CyP2D6 inhibitors on the msk site link from MelissaDallas. So you should discuss with your MO if you are taking Tamoxifen.
