Hematoma and radiation

I developed a hematoma after lumpectomy. Getting ready to start radiation... will radiation help shrink the hematoma. Or is it a problem to have radiation with a hematoma/setons. Surgeon saw hematoma at post op last week. Wasn’t concerned, said it could take a long time to dissolve. Forgot to ask her if it was an issue with rads, or if it might even help dissolve. They radiated me with a huge hematoma. They waited a week to see if it would shrink (it didn't), then started radiation. It eventually started dissolving sometime during radiation. The radiation oncologist never seemed really concerned.
