Anyone take potassium chloride?

My oncologist put me on Potassium Chloride Extended Release tablets, USP. Besides stomach problems, I get so fatigued in the afternoon since I started taking it...similar to the fatigue I experienced during radiation treatment, which ended last September.

Fatigue isn't listed as a side effect of potassium chloride. Wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

viewfinder, I have taken potassium Chloride ER tabs and never experienced fatigue from them.  My fatigue comes from anastrozole and at times when I'm anemic, then Onco puts me on iron.

Symptoms of low potassium are fatigue and digestive problems. It kind of sounds like to me that the condition and not the medicine might be the problem. Why were you put on the tabs? Did you have recent blood work?

I’m on it too, with a diuretic. Haven’t noticed any fatigue.

I've been taking anastrozole much longer than Postassium Chloride. Evidently my potassium was so low per a recent blood test that the doctor recommended I go to the drugstore immediately and get the RX. But it's gotten me so sick that she switched me to he effervescent type; no where's near the cost of some cancer medicines, but still I can't really afford $40 per month. She also cut my diuretic pill to every other day. I'm fine with that. The less medicine the better.

I'm 75 in June and want to be able to function the last few years of my life. I don't want to be constantly sick from all these @#$% medicines. The day I skipped the Postassium Chloride tablet I felt back to myself and was able to function at an event I attended!!!
