My doctor ordered the test on seventh and she told it is not there yet.

Typically it takes 7 to 10 days I read somewhere.

I am stage 1a. Do you think my onco score can be low.

Mine took 2 weeks. Actually the test results came in the day before my first Oncology appointment. I was a basket case until then. I had not cried throughout the whole process until then. I had a low score of 11 which allowed me to dodge chemo. I had 33 radiation treatments instead.

Karmic - I was Stage 1b. Yes I would think logically it would be low but there are so many factors that determine a score since it’s only your specific tumor. BC is not a one size, fits all disease. Still that’s very early stage so I would be surprised if your score came back high. That does seem like a long time to get your results but you never know what their workload is,

Try not to worry. Keep us posted.

I doubt on my bs and her staff not to reveal the results soon. As I was bugging for other results like margins and other fungi reports they lost some patience.

They are not new to a bc patient, but am new.

My results took 4 weeks but My MO told me that they seem to be taking longer especially since my surgery was right before the Christmas holidays.

The onco doc says they are ordering the score today. There is a disconnect. Why the bs told they ordered on March 7. Really dreading to contact the Bs folks.

My results took longer than expected, I called the Oncotype testing company and had my results the same day. There were not sending the results due to incomplete paper work, even though the test was complete. After abouot an hour on the phone with them and my insurance company the resuls were faxed to my docotr. Good luck with your test results.

The doc got it on Monday. I called the testing company. Biting my nails to know the score.
