Looking for advice following vac assist biopsy

Hoping someone who has been through this can give some advice.

I had my second biopsy today - vac assist with mammogram. It was much more hectic than the core needle with ultrasound I had before.

Anyway, I have a small dressing on that I was told to leave on for three days. It seems there has been some bleeding since it was put on (I don’t know when exactly as it had a big gauze dressing over for most of the day, which I took off a couple of hours ago).

Should I ignore the pool of fresh blood that has gathered in the dressing or try to get my gp practice nurse to replace the dressing tomorrow? I’m a bit worried it will pop and I’ll get blood all over my work top (or worse, get infected).

But, it might be normal and I feel like I might be being over cautious if I go to see if I can get the dressing changed.

Please let me know if you have any advice?
