I've noticed some changes in both my breasts over the last 7 months. They arent severe changes and could be written off as other things but collectively they have me concerned. I have cracking and crusting on both nipples, yellow dishcharge, itching, sore spot between the top of my right breast and armpit, what looks like a mild peau d'orange, and occasional soreness. But I do have eczema (though it has never been on my chest and I've had it since birth), I did breastfeed my daughter but that was over a year ago and I had my pituitary gland check already (not by my primary doctor and I had to insist but I felt justified then). I have made an appointment with my primary doctor already. I have military insurance and go to an on base doctor. I've only been to my primary care a handful of times so there isnt much of a relationship established. The doctors at this particular base tend to be very dismissive (especially of women). Im feeling very anxious that I'm going to come across as ridiculous to my doctor. The reason I am posting is to hear (read?) some personal experience with mild symptoms similar to mine so I wont back down on any sort of tests that could help figure out if there is a serious problem. Edit: not trying to compare symptoms for a diagnosis just to not feel like I am being overly anxious or concerned about nothing. I have talked to my mother and grandmother about it and they tell me I'm being silly

    Hi there, Mommy42726-

We can certainly understand your concerns! Breast changes of any kind can be alarming, and it's good that you're being proactive and being seen by your doctor. Chances are, the issues you've described can be attributed by another cause, but it's always better to have things like this checked by your doctor, especially if they're causing you concern or discomfort. Please keep us posted when you learn more!
