New symptoms after 24 radiation treatments

A few weeks ago, I had muscle clutches in my right leg when I tried to sleep. A couple of Lorazepam with a sleep aide took care of that, and they went away. Then I had a visit from my parents week before last. I hadn't seen them for 2 years, so it was so exciting to see them. My right eyelid began twitching. Put it down to excitement. The day after they left, I fell. Again, put it down to clumsiness - I still can't figure out how I fell, but it wasn't hard and it didn't hurt. A few days later, my mouth is crooked. The right side doesn't lift like the left side. So, brought all this to the attention of my radiation onc. Had an MRI Friday, so now am waiting for results. Monday I should find out something. It concerned the radiation onc enough that he went immediately and visited with my chemo onc. Hmmmm.... So, while the possibility that it could be the cancer has gone to the brain, I decided to do a little investigation on the internet. There's an excellent probability that it is hemifacial spasms. As long as this doesn't interfere with my driving, I can live with muscles jumping in the eye and lip. I am just wondering if anybody else has experienced anything like this and what they found out about it.

Oh wow, I don't have anything genuine to offer, I have had a lot of experience with nervous symptoms, severe stress, and all the things you mention could be just this.
However, of course, you need to follow up with your onc/doc closely and carefully to be absolutely sure you have nothing more ominous going on.
Gentle hugs, Shirlann -
Thank you for your response Shirlann. I did get good news from the radiology onc today on the brain MRI - there is nothing up there. It was a relief to know that it was not cancer. According to the radiology onc, it is not his problem - I need to talk to my chemo onc now. Fortunately I have an appointment tomorrow with him. Will see what he says. And on it goes. LOL

Just got back from the chemo onc. It is Bell's Palsy that I am experiencing. It is a mild case and should rectify itself. :-)

Skyrat - I'm so glad I found someone with the exact same symptoms I have & it started with the breast cancer!! I went to a neurologist about it & she didn't see anything but the symptoms are just getting worse! Hopefully I got what you have & it will go away. I know the cancer is related to these spasms as they came together.
