Tamoxifen and Menstruation

Hi Ladies, for those of you who are premenopausal and take tamox, do you still get a monthly period? Just wondering what to expect when I start next month. Thanks!

    I still get them but not monthly....more like every 6-8 weeks. Usually 6, but sometimes it's a bigger gap. Right now I am at week 7 and kind of wondering if it's coming....I did have a dose of steroids a couple of weeks ago and that can screw things up to.

    It took a couple of months on tamoxifen to notice changes. I have been on it for exactly 2 years, and am on the 10 year plan...

    Ive been on tamoxifen for about a year and a half and still get very regular periods. I believe this is unusual though as my oncologist mentioned something about only 10% of women continuing to menstrate normally and it was one of several reasons they added a monthly zoladex injection to my prescription just last month. Everyone is different but although there have been someside effects mostly it has been fine! Wishing you all the best with it
