Punch biopsy turnaround

I’m looking to find out how long it took others to get results from a punch biopsy for pagets and what the results were? Today marks one week since my biopsy and I’m starting to get very nervous it’s going to be positive since it’s taking “longer.

    Did you call? Where I go it takes 5-7 business days. So that seems normal. At time of my diagnosis I had to wait 10 days or so until they had the results. I would't read into so many details like that. (I recently called for biopsy results and nobody would call me back and it took hours to get someone on the phone. Their "avoidance" made me convinced it would be malignant, but no - that was my clouded point of view). Do you have your next appointment set up? Sometimes they don't like to tell people over the phone but I prefer that vs. if it's bad news being in an office with doctors and wanting to cry or seeing their uncomfortable faces. Do you have access to some of your reports online? I usually try to read those out of curiousity and for more insight.

    Hi ssl! Have you received your biopsy results? I'm getting a biopsy today after basically demanding it from the breast surgeon who says it still looks "normal". How long was your wait time?

    I finally got my results today after waiting 15 stressful days. My biopsy came back normal and the only thing it showed was dilated blood vessels. So, this is a big relief but I still don’t know what’s causing it. As far the dilated blood vessels, I don’t know what to make of that.
