Awaiting results of punch biopsy for Pagets

Hello, I'm 37 and since last summer, I have had several issues with my left nipple. Through the summer & fall, this nipple would peel & become sensitive, look normal, then start peeling again about a week later. I mentioned this to my gyn in August who did not know the cause & said to see a dermatologist. I put it off due to the the

nipple looking almost normal when not peeling, my prior derm not taking my insurance & new derm having a 3 month wait. I did see my gyn again in the fall for this issue & she said eczema & prescribed a topical steroid which seemed to make it worse. In the meantime, I tried every cream under the sun to no avail. Saw a breast surgeon & derm finally last month, both of which said it's just skin irritation. In the past month, the peeling has mostly stopped but now the nipple gets very red & irritated usually almost every day. It most often happens to when I am not wearing a bra. It also gets painful. Again, surgeon said it's nothing & the derm did a punch biopsy yesterday for as she said “peace of mind." I, however, have been convinced it's pagets since it first started but no one would listen. When it gets red, it does extend to the areola very slightly, just around the base of the nipple and the redness will resolve it a couple hours to day then come back. Did anyone have pagets with this pattern? Redness & pain then gets better then comes back? And seeming to be caused by being braless? I read some stupid article online last night that pagets is associated with more aggressive invasive cancers & I am scared out of my mind. This article also mentioned pagets spreading from the nipple out which mine seems to do.I'm a single mom with 2 kids who need their mother...
