“Pretty sure” benign breast tumor / spreading to lymph nodes?
Hi, I posted on here a year or so ago. I am 25 and found a lump in my breast 2 years ago while pregnant with my son. I had it ultrasounded after giving birth and they diagnosed it as a tumor which “I’m pretty sure it’s been benign” were the exact words of the dr. They did not do any testing as I was breast feeding and he didn’t need want to do a biopsie and ruin my milk supply? Anyway. I’ve been going in for follow up ultrasounds and they say it doesn’t need seam to begrowing which is a good sign. But I also am no longer breast feeding and my boobs are deflated haha. I don’t dont know If that could be making the tumor look smaller or not.
I've recently been having aching dull pain in my collarbone area and neck for the past few weeks. It's gradually getting worse and a little swollen above my collar bone and now I can physically feel a bump. There is also a bump in my arm on the side right in the crease of my arm, and below it. My armpit is loosing feeling here and there and is EXTREMELY itchy (more above my armpit) that's been happening for a few months now. I'm just not sure if I should go to urgent care as I don't have a primary care dr. I don't know if any of this could be related or if maybe the tumor is actually malignant and may be spreading to lymph nodes. Any advice or similar experiences would be great
thanks!

sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense. The typing is extremely slow on the website for some reason and messes up soemtimes

The first thing you should do is get a 3D mammogram and if deemed appropriate an ultrasound. Stress has a remarkable way of messing with our brain. Stay calm, enjoy your baby and call a doctor to set up tests. I sincerely wish you all the best and please keep us up to date on what is going on.

thank you, I tried getting a mammogram but becuase I am young (25) they won’t let me schedule one. I finally got into a primary doctor and she did a full work up with bloods drawn ect and is sending me in for another ultrasound. So now, we wait

I believe Planned Parenthood can help you get one as well.

Perhaps if you go to an urgent care that is on a big medical campus (like a university hospital) if they think it is serious they could send you for an ultrasound (in the same building). Or some urgent care place could refer you somewhere to get imaging. It may not be as expensive as you think. Back when I had insurance I had urgent care refer me to get some xrays and the whole thing was $270 or so.
