Letrozole and arm/hand numbness?

I have been taking Letrozole (also Zoladex shot once a month) for 7 weeks. I havent had any side effects so far, but within the last couple weeks I have woken up and both of my arms/hands are numb. It also happens at times when Im on the computer, so I thought it may be carpal tunnel until I read this morning that Letrozole can cause this side effect?

Has anyone experienced this? Did you switch medications? Or will the side effects go away after a while?

Thanks for your help.

    Hi CPB

I have been on Letrozole for six years and I haven't experienced this - other SE' but no arm numbness.

Hi. The arm numbness can be from medication, from your body reacting to estrogen reduction, or from the lymph node removal, or radiation to the chest (if you had it). As a positive action, I would suggest trying PT to see if you can get some relief by strengthening your LD and shoulder muscles. I'm currently on another AI, and the oncologist blames the medication for the hand and feet numbness.
