Hi everyone

I’m half way through my 25 treatments. Was so happy doing well. Not red. More tanned and akin was looking good but after number 13 on fri, itching began Sunday. Tried 1% hydrocortisone and three days in still no time working. So now trying 2.5%. Any tips on what you use for itching? I am so depressed now because thought smooth sailing but now I’m so afraidof the next 12

Hey there,I remember having the same reaction, I used the cortisone, benadryl cream, and my favorite, Miaderm, developed by radiation oncologist. Kind of expensive but it saved my skin. The itchiness is maddening cuz you can't scratch it, skin's too delicate. The side effects do get slightly worse the further in you get, but they do go away quickly, once you're done. DON'T SCRATCH!😉💗, also try cold packs to calm the itch.

My RO mentioned that domeboro is helpful. My last encounter with domeboro was as a sitz bath when my 27 year old was born. You can use it as a cool compress.

thanks so much. Haven’t tried Benadryl cream. Or the other you mentioned. Will look into that. Thank you all. Glad I’m not only one. I was scared that it started on day 13 since 12 left. Scared hoping I can get through them
