In the CT we found that retroperitoneal lymph node to the left of the aorta is 1.9 * 1.3 * 2.2

An aortocaval retroperitoneal lymph node is 1.8 * 1.2 * 2.7

The above are in the abdomen area.

I am diagnosed with idc 1.4 cm. Next step is lumpectomy.

From the past one week feet swelling is there. I had MRI dye in the body a week ago. Is that causing the continuous swelling.

On a side note I had prolonged salt water foot soaks for ten days and it got some water softener.

My bmi is 34.

My protein levels were ok when I did annual physicals. My albumin globulin and protein levels were ok in Dec. Now those levels changed. May be my kidneys didn't flush out the MRI dye. Since then I had feet swelling. I didn't drink enough water.

Now am taking little lime juice and turmeric in water to flush out toxins and reduce inflammation.

I realized they did both plasma and serum level tests

I need to check with doc as well

I am not a doctor but have some experience with kidney issues. Yes, the dye can be a problem if you have reduced kidney function. The swelling is likely caused by that. I don't think you need to worry about lymphedema before you have had your surgery. But these things could mean that you are more susceptible to it, so be sure to follow all the precautions, to have the best odds of avoiding it.

The doc is saying MRI dye and swelling is not related. They want to do renal ultrasound and check if any infection or bad cells .. more urine and blood tests. Next to next Monday is the follow up

The nephrologist is ruling out on the dye saying your kidneys are working fine and they filtered out. I have urine and blood test tomorrow. I will try my luck in asking to test gladolinum in the urine and blood. Hopefully he gets it done as well as he seems to be doing his way mostly.

Somehow swelling came down almost. Cutting salt and raising legs when sleeping.

I got the renal ultrasound yesterday. Still in confusion if the doctor ordered renal or renal vascular. For one I should have full bladder and for the latter I should fast. The imaging services had different directions when I called twice. Tomorrow I can check with the doc. Biting nails on the renal rpt.

Looks like I met my deductible. Only at MRI and renal they asked me to pay upfront. But still MRI, bone scan, onco visits and other should still show up on the insurance portal. Then my out of pocket will be reached too.

Side things should not forget taking vit d. Since am anemic have to get iron pills. And need to get b12 shots.

Also waiting on pet scan appt.

Nephologist ordered tests and they took 12 vials today. In that CMP and cbc included. These tests are being repeated from past three months.

    Swelling is not fully down.

I need to start drinking more water less salt and exercise and see.

These appts and labs are very often taking a toll on me.

Pet scan is another major yet to come.

Had pet. SUV at the dx bc is 0.8, right side lymph below neck is 1.8, and at the retroperitoneal it is 9.7

My feet swelling is still there and it is almost a month.

I need to clear my lymph system to make sure it is not lymphoma or sarcoidisis.

    But the priority is surgery
