Chronic infections led to fistula

Greetings, I haven't been here in quite a while because I thought all the nasty stuff was way behind me - haha - fooled me!! The permanent implant became infected and, long story short, the infection led to implant removal and I have developed a fistula on my left (radiated) side. I will be having surgery to debride the area and I will have to have a flap created to replace the damaged tissue. Any information on what the surgery entails would be greatly appreciated.
