Lymphedema Legislation SUPPORT NEEDED FROM US

I was just fortunate enough to have LVA Lymphedema surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics from Dr Wei Chen. I just had it 3 days ago and I am already feeling relief!!! I am from Texas and so glad that I found Dr Wei Chen because he is probably the only surgeon in the USA that could help me because my lymph vessels were so small, .2, which is the limit of super microsurgery

As breast cancer survivors we DO NOT have to just live with Lymphedema. Super Microsurgeons like Dr Wei Chen want to lead the field in providing surgical treatment to decrease the progression of the disease that was caused by current breast cancer treatments

However, most insurance does not cover the surgery or all compression garments, pumps, etc. We need to join forces and help CHANGE this so ALL of us can benefit from all available treatment options, especially since Lymphedema is progressive

The Lymphedema Treatment Act is in Congress and we have to help get it passed before it is too late
