Surgery date confirmed today.
Got the call today. Lumpectomy with oncoplastic reconstruction Feb 5. They always said it would be out patient but today said I will spend the night as my surgery is scheduled at noon and will be done around 5:00. That plus reconstruction adds the overnight stay.
I was looking forward to coming home. My 13 year old daughter said she is bringing her sleeping bag and spending the night with me. ☹️
Have been waiting about a week for the call and after I hung up my stomach had butterflies. Feeling better now though.
