Thank you Novagirl and Preludesing! Your support, prayers, good vibes sent our way means the world to me and I'm sure to Esmeralda as well. As we all know waiting is horrible. The seconds seem like an eternity.
-
Any results yet
-
No KBeee, not yet. I should hear today. Thank you for checking in. I'm not surprised I haven't heard yet, it's the end of the year when everyone is trying to squeeze in everything they can before insurance resets in January. It's pretty busy.
I do have to say, even though I am worried and anxious, a big part of me doesn't want to know. I will post when I find out.
Also, I'm thinking about you Esmeralda!
-
Fingers crossed MeToo14. Praying you get good results. Hang in there.
-
Thank you Novagirl! Im thinking of you.
The waiting sucks! Now I've convinced myself I haven't gotten my results back because there is so much cancer that the reports are taking forever to write. I had two separate MRI's one for my back and one for my hip. The pain is still there and I don't know what to do with myself. Now I'm off to work.
-
I know just what you’re feeling, Metoo! Hang in there. We are with you. Praying for good news...
-
More spammers coming out in droves.

I still haven't received my results yet and have been so anxious. I'm going to call my MO today and see if they are in.
-
Ugh. No results, well maybe it is a good sign. I love my oncologist I remember waiting for my biopsy result on a possible recurrence and he called Friday night almost 8pm to tell me it was benign. Then the following Monday afternoon the radiologist called to tell me it was benign. My weekend was spared.
-
I hope you get good results today and that your pain is relieved!
-
Metoo, call them every day until you hear something. It is crazy to be taking so long
-
Great news! I just talked to my MO and there is no evidence of cancer! He said that I have severe arthritis and brusitis and degenerative disc diesease starting. He said he couldn't believe it was that bad for someone my age.
I want to thank everyone for all their support I was a hot mess and your kindness means the world to me. Thank you!
-
great that it is not cancer metoo14 👌😊!!!
-
Oh thank god it's just severe arthritis!
Just kidding! Kind of. Not really. I guess?
So did he refer you to anyone for the problems that you do have?
-
MeeToo, so glad there is no cancer, sorry to hear about the arthritis. I forgot were you take AI drugs by any chance?
I hope they can help relieve the pain you feel. Have a wonderful holiday.
-
So glad there is no cancer!!!!! Hoping you get relief doon
-
Thanks everyone, I've been so happy since I got the news. My doctor wants me to go to a pain specialist and get cortisone injections. I know it will help but I hate needles.
I am on an AI and OS so I'm sure that's part of it.
-
Meetoo I'm so happy for you that there is no cancer! So sorry for the pain and arthritis dx, but I hope you and your team find a solution for relief! Wish you a relaxing Christmas! 🎄❤️✨
-
metoo- i was holding my breathing reading through these post to find out your results, i am so happy for you. As i heard on a post cancer treatment video, once we go through cancer we no longer have the luxury of an ache, pain or headache, we always have to consider re-occurence. I have been having terrible pain in ribs and now hip. I go for an x-ray tomorrow. I totally get how you feel. All the best! and to everyone and all the encouragement for you - it helps me as well. Thank you and happy new year.
-
best wishes nanfromontario hugs
-
Nanfromontario, I hope the x-ray gave you good news on why you are having pain. You're right, the thought of reoccurrence will always be there no matter how much time has gone by. I hope you get some relief soon. Happy New year!
-
Sorry so long to reply. X-ray was fine but US showed myomas and endometrial thickening. I need a uterine biopsy. Still waiting for gyne appointment. Interesting that my hip pain still an issue and also in pelvis.
-
I can understand your fear. I have suffered with back pain since high school also. Thankfulky, I have not had much pain in recent years unless I overdo. Your symptoms sound like sciatica. Once you have the MRI and they say clear of cancer, it might be helpful to do some PT for your back and hip. Before cancer, I had similar symptoms about 6 years ago. My hip had bursitis. They did a procedure called iontopheresis. Shortly afterward, the pain subsided. I learned some exercises that I do when I get the beginnings of back pain. Those exercises usually relieve it if I catch it in time. Because of the pain, it severely limited my activity level. Because of that, my hips were weak and consequently my back hurt. Have them teach some hip strengthening exercises, too. I wish I could show you what I do.
-
Thank you for all the advice and support. I hope you all are doing well!
-
Three batteries of X-rays over a period of 4 months never showed 5 tumors in my sacrum/ iliac joint. Mnailed it.
