Hi all,

My daughter had her first AC treatment on Friday and she was nauseous and extremely tired Friday night with a bad headache. She was better over weekend and went to work today and was extremely tired by 4P. Is this normal? Does it get worse and can people work during AC-T. Thanks all, she is 34 with Stage 2 breast cancer. Grade is 1 I think.

January, check out the AC Treatment board. It has tons of useful info on AC chemo, Side effects, and ways to deal with them.

    Hi Everyone,

My 34 year old daughter was diagnosed on November 26,2018. I am trying so hard to be supportive but I am on a roller coaster ride of emotions all within the same day. I am living my worst nightmare -shocked, angry, sad, you name it----Any advice you can give me would be helpful- I am not sure what to do to cope. It's better and than worse. I am paralyzed with fear but I have to keep a brave face for her. She is stage 2, IDC- AC chemo is tomorrow- number 2

I am on that same treatment. I had my first dose yesterday and yes, I seem to feel the same way. I am trying to work (as a teacher of young elementary school kids) but already know I am not going to make the whole day today. My mom is in the same boat, trying to be supportive and scared for me (I am 44).
