Brain mets

Im not officially diagnosed. I had my MRI today and won't get official results for a week. I did see the scan though and there is no doubt that I have mets. Giant white spots on my brain. My frontal lobe is almost completely white.

I don't know how to take this in. I can't think clearly anyway which is why I had the MRI. I'm strangely calm. I've been thinking about my kids and husband and how devestating this will be for them and that's what I worry about. I'll have to wait to see what the doctor says but life expectancy is only 6 months to 3 years.

I hate this disease. I was only 2a with no lymph node involvement. It's so random.

Let us know what they say. One of the gals from my 2013 group had brain mets last year and after treatment has been doing great and is NED. Hoping the same for you. Keep us posted. I am sorry you are dealing with this. Cancer sucks.
